從Mt.Wellington 搭公車到New Market約20min左右

住在Mt.Wellington 實在超方便,去哪都不會太遠

今兒個跟前陣子偶遇的嘉如約見面,她在New Market工作

結果,她居然重感冒,於是馬上煮一壼檸檬茶過去給她

到了New Market覺得這一區又不同於其他區,跟city很像,

Auckland 分東南西北,中區,及city...

因為晚上跟嘉如吃完飯回去取車時,剛好遇到條伯伯來開單,這裡的條伯伯人真好,那時他在開第一台,
而我們停在第二位,跟他表明沒看清楚牌上寫的才誤停,他就揮揮手說可以走了,...好人一枚,不然這裡的罰單可是超級貴的

One of New Zealand’s finest timber Gothic houses, Highwic was begun in 1862 by Alfred Buckland, one of Auckland’s most substantial land owners, and his wife Eliza. It was extended in 1873 in the style of the original, which had been copied from American A.J Downings patternbook ‘The Architecture of Country Houses’

Highwic was home to Buckland’s 21 children and remained in the family until sold in 1978. Furnished with antiques, there is much to interest and charm visitors of all ages, and in addition, the hectare of lawns and fine gardens provide a haven from the hustle and bustle of nearby Newmarket.

Highwic also serves as a quality functions venue. Whether you’re visiting or celebrating a special occasion, this rare and beautifully preserved ‘Carpenter Gothic’-style building, is a delight.
